    ThreadLedger never sees your Gmail email content. Your email threads are analyzed locally using your own AI API key.
  

What data we collect

When you subscribe to ThreadLedger Pro, we store:

Your email address (to deliver your license key and identify your account)
Your license key and plan status
Stripe customer and subscription IDs (we never store card details)
A randomly generated device ID from your Chrome extension install
Timestamps of license verification events

What we do NOT collect

Gmail email content — ever
Your AI API key — it lives only in your browser's local storage
Your contacts, calendar, or any other Google data
Analytics or usage tracking in the extension

AI API key

ThreadLedger requires your own AI API key (Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic, or compatible). This key is stored exclusively in your Chrome extension's local storage. It is never sent to our servers. When you analyze a thread, your email content is sent directly from your browser to your chosen AI provider.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe handles all payment security and PCI compliance.

Data retention

We retain your account and license data for as long as your account exists. If you cancel your subscription and request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.
